It’s the time of the year again and we are celebrating the Chinese New Year around the globe. Welcoming the blessings and to make the year more prosperous and successful. We at Elabram Systems Group acknowledge and welcoming this new year with a blast and with an event to share to all the workforce around the globe.
When is Chinese New Year 2017?
Chinese New Year 2017 – the Year of the Rooster – marked across the world just recently last Saturday January 28, with many festivities. Celebrations will continue until the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first Chinese lunar month – February 11. The date is dictated by the Chinese lunar calendar which is organised around the movements of the moon, and differs each year. Usually it falls between January 21 and February 20. The Chinese zodiac denotes one of 12 animals to each new year. The Year of the Rooster lasts until February 15, 2018.
At Elabram Systems Group headquarter in Malaysia, we celebrated the Chinese New Year last February 6, 2017 along with the rest of our team members. The colorful lions visited our main office in Kejang, Malaysia and in attendance of course were the two bosses; Mikel Yaw (Group Managing Director) and Sunny Yaw ( Group Deputy Managing Director) with the whole team.
Mikel and Sunny encourages everyone to work had especially in the first two quarters and to have a better performance than the previous years. After the speeches, the whole team received red packets or Äng Pao” to kick start the spring season.
During the Chinese New Year celebration, we greeted also the birthday babies of the last quarter then tossed the “Yee Sang” to receive the prosperity for this year.
