The Chinese New Year is one event that Elabram Systems Group is looking forward every year. It’s an occassion where most of our offices around the globe is celebrating. One activity that we are looking forward to is the giving out of “Ang- Pau” (Red envelopes) which is a monetary gift from the company and given during holidays or special occassions such as weddings, graduation or the birth of the baby, at Elabram Systems HQ, it’s during the Chinese New Year to share the blessings of the company to the team.

Red envelopes are gifts presented at social and family gatherings such as Chinese New Year. The red color of the envelope symbolizes  good luck and is the symbol to ward off evil spirits. At Elabram Systems HQ also in Malaysia, they have red dragons dancing which is a symbol of China and believes to bring good luck to people.

The dragons believes to possess qualities that include great power, dignity, fertility, wisdom and auspiciousness.
