Everyone loves the Black Panther with a proven $66.5 Million sales in China alone or $1 Billion in cinemas worldwide, making it the company’s 16th movie to reach that milestone. If you haven’t watch it yet, you still have a chance this month as it is still showing because of the popularity.

What struck me more in the story, same as in the “Mulan” cartoon movie is on how they keep on trusting, believing and praying to their ancestors. My Dad keeps on telling me also to ask for guidance from our ancestors. What a similarities and yes, I asked for the guidance everyday which I still believe that they are giving me luck and opportunities.

Just recently, Elabram Systems in Thailand celebrated the Chinese New Year and we are in awe about the different dragons presence in the celebration. According to the Chinese traditions, this is the time to clean the house, prepare food for the feast and make banners and decorations special for the New Year. Also important to remember and to pay respects to the ancestors to ask for favors and good fortune. They bring offerings of food and incense to please the spirits of the deceased so that they might bring good luck.

Even now in different countries, people from all walks of life come to pay their respects to their ancestors in any forms. The Chinese Dragon Dance is an important part of Chinese New Year and is conceived to bring good luck and scare away the evil spirits.

Sharing to all of you now what we did at Elabram Systems Thailand during the Chinese New Year Celebration.
